Aegean Airlines selects IEG for Lounge Management and Customer Tracking solution for its VIP Lounges

Montreal, QC (CANADA) – Athens based Aegean Airlines selects IEG’s Access Information Management System (AIMS)™ for the management of lounge passenger activities. The enterprise agreement will see the deployment of AIMS in Aegean Airlines VIP lounges in Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus.

Aegean Airlines joins a growing family of airlines which have selected AIMS for their prestigious lounges. Over the past year, IEG has seen the list of airlines grow to include LuxAir, Star Alliance, All Nippon, bmi, Brussels Airlines, Egypt Air and Aéroport de Québec.

2010 is an exciting year for Aegean Airlines as it enters a period of innovation, starting with becoming the 28th member to join Star Alliance. With AIMS in the lounges, Aegean Airlines will benefit from lower operating costs and a seamlessly cater to the distinguished Star Alliance customer base. It will be in a position to strengthen its own customer loyalty through personalized recognition, benefits and service.

With AIMS, Aegean Airlines gets a proven technology and IEG’s reputed customer service.  It can immediately step up in full compliance with the Star Alliance requirements for lounges. The “Sweet Spot” for Aegean Airlines was in the intersection between a proven commercial solution versus new development and costly on-going support.
