At the heart of our photo radar offerings is the Sensys RS240-LD Doppler radar (FCC approved). It can be used for red light, speed enforcement and traffic analysis with a single system. Its unique tracking capabilities allows the core sensor to follow all vehicles in the measurement area, therefore ignoring reflections and other undesired signals that commonly affect competitive radar products.

Red Light Safety System
The Red Light Safety System has been installed across the globe and is proving its ability to reduce accidents and injury daily. This solution is able to detect both speed and distance, allowing the non-intrusive sensor to analyze speed behavior as vehicles approach the stop line. If it is calculated that a vehicle will not be able to stop before the stop line, the system will take a picture of the vehicle just before the stop line showing its position, the red light and the license plate.
Speed Enforcement
The Sensys Mobile Speed Safety System is very compact and versatile. This solution is based on Sensys’ multi-tracking radar. This wide beam radar unit is capable of tracking multiple vehicles simultaneously, using a lobe that oversees several lanes up to 150 meters deep. Vehicles moving within that cone are tracked and their movements analyzed. The system is pre-configured, if required, a customized configuration may be made on site via a handheld computer (PDA). A back-office system processes all the data.
School Zone Safety System
The Speed Warning Safety System enforces speed limits and acts as a warning system to both driver and pedestrian. The unique multi-tracking radar means that vehicles can start to be detected at a distance of 150 metres or 490 feet. This long tracking time enables both the pedestrian and the driver to be warned earlier. The standard system uses an audible alarm to warn the pedestrian in the area and a visual alarm to warn the driver of the vehicle.
Road Work Area Safety System
The Road Work Area Safety System combines speed warnings to both drivers and workers and can even be used to issue infractions where desired. It warns drivers for excessive speeding, alerts road workers of potentially dangerous situations and enforces the local laws.
Tunnel Safety System
The Tunnel Safety System is designed for installation in tunnels and will check whether a vehicle is traveling above the speed limit. It is based on Sensys’ unique, multi-tracking radar. It’s capable of tracking multiple vehicles simultaneously, uses a lobe that oversees several lanes up to 150 metres deep. Vehicles moving with that coverage area are tracked and their movements analyzed. Sensys’ solutions are completely non-intrusive, meaning that all system components are installed above ground.
Vehicle Identification System
The Vehicle Identification System has been developed to be flexible and adjustable to your needs. It may be used in a wide range of applications, as well as for both single and multiple lanes. Additional cameras can be added to identify vehicle drivers. This solution can also be customized to individual needs. In addition to wanted vehicle, restricted area and bus lane, further applications could include travel time information system, border control and congestion charging.
